Dr. VA Shiva Ayyadurai MIT, Inventor of Email, appeared in a live dial-in show on Sun News on Thursday July 11, 2013. He answered a lot of questions put forth by viewers on Sun News and talked about the greatness of Tamil culture. He said that Innovation is a tradition with Tamils and advised students to pursue a path of innovation. He urged them to take up what they believe in and what interests them rather than blindly following what other people say. Dr. Shiva also talked about his other inventions and interests such as CytoSolve, Integrative Medicine and his interest in funding and supporting entrepreneurs through Innovation Corps. He said his aim is to popularize Siddha, the ancient Tamil medical system in the West and to integrate this ancient system of medicine with modern medicine to provide holistic medical care.
